Enough Is Enough.

When is it time to say enough is enough? When do you give up because you'll be better off? I'm sorry to say that I don't know where that line is, or rather I do its just that I see it as my duty to purposefully cross it so over the years it's become so faded that I can hardly see it at all. Maybe that's a good thing, it keeps me focused on the current mission. Doing whatever is necessary.

Say I'm given an assignment to rescue a soldier from behind enemy lines and it becomes too dangerous for most operatives to carry on. I'll keep going to finish the mission so that I can live in the belief that I did all I could. Now if that same soldier was a world leader, nobody would give up, they would keep going. I don't see the difference, what makes a world leader more important than a soldier? To me they are all important.
