See You There

You were just a fling, I thought...

But not at first you see...
I was quite sure it was real, cause it seemed that way to me
But destiny, I recall, mustn't have heard our hearts
And so it came to be that we must be a world apart.
Retrospectively I've deduced, for this very reason
That the time we had together was just a passing season
That is until recently, when I came upon your face
In a recollected moment I was sure had been erased
I believed I had forgotten you
And you should not remember me
But just in case, lets make a date, tonight in memory.

Memories

A great memory. That's what I have got. In my eyes you might see. Are they forgettable, no they are not. They keep coming back when I close my eyes. They might be big or small in size.

Yesterdays

Once upon a yesterday. In an everlasting sun. Seams unpicked and solid. Innocence yet undone. Times the youth within us. Was all we'd ever need. Taken all too quickly. Consumed by growing's greed.
