The UNbalance Of Media

After listening to BBC2, and a chat about NLP, I have to comment, and here is my Unbiased Comment.
I cannot, for the life-of-me fathom the continual dumming-down of subjects, and the appearance, of so-called 'Experts' that are recruited for EVERYTHING in the interest of 'balance' and 'impartiality'
Yes, there are often more than one view on any given subject, but I think we fail to see the logic of the employment of (I assume) minions to scour the Internet and information scoured to find at least one crackpot per segment.
I am also amazed at the seemingly endless stream of 'Experts in their field' that pop up. Is there a database somewhere that you need to register to be called open for your opinion, regardless of the fact that you are a crackpot?
