I'm a bit of a speed freak
(When not in my car).
Formula 1 is my passion,
I gaze on from afar.
The sound of the engines,
The occasional tantrum and tear.
The fight for poll position;
Vettel again I fear.
DRS and pit stops,
KERS and straight line speed.
With all of this technology,
Focus is what they need.
It's boring! Yell my children.
Can we watch another side?
Go away and don't disturb me.
Interruptions I can't abide.
Leave me here to savour,
Leave me here to dream,
Of one day being part of it.
Of owning my own team.
