Chapter Forty Two

"Shh you'll wake her." "no you shh." "Louis shh!" "Harry quiet!" "Zayn now your yelling." "okay just shh." what? The bed moves a little and I'm pushed into what seems like the middle of the bed. I move my arm and feel a warm body next to me. Umm... It's freezing in here. I move my other arm to pull up the blanket but there's nothing there. I scoot closer to the person next to me hoping that they will warm me. An arm goes around my waist and pulls me in. Someone lays a blanket barely covering half of my leg. What are they doing? I actually don't care I'm freezing and tired. A leg goes over mine and then a hand barely on my back. I sleep a little more with different hands, arms, and legs on me. Awkward. I open my eyes a tad and see Zayn's face pressed against my hair and Louis' legs on mine. Harry has his arms around me protectively and I'm pressed against his chest. I don't know how to wake them up but I decide to scream. "Ahhhhhhhh!" Harry and Louis fall off the bed and Zayn sits up. Liam and Niall run into the room and stop in the doorway and look at Zayn freaking out and the two boys on the ground. "What happened?" "are you okay?" They both ask. "I'm fine." "why'd you yell?" Zayn asks sleepily. "it's kinda weird waking up to three guys sleeping in my bed." "Sorry." Harry mumbles. "Why were you in my bed?" "we got scared because we watched a scary movie." replies Louis. "I would have come in but that would have been weird." Says Liam. "Yeah kinda. What time is it?" "One." "Direction!" everyone starts laughing. "In the afternoon?" "no morning." "shut up. Anyone wanna come with me to the store to get paper, poster boards, markers, paint, and yarn?" "Why?" Zayn asks finally waking up fully. "I have a Spanish project due tomorrow." "and you're starting now?" Liam asks concerned. "yes sir." "I'll go." Harry says. "I wanna go!" adds Louis. "okay let's change and we can go." "Yay!" they run out and I sit on my bed looking at the remaining three. "Can you guys leave?" "Fine." Zayn and Niall say together. Liam turns and walks away without talking. I sigh and change into sweat pants and a tank top. I put on my school sweatshirt and some UGGs. We may be in Arizona but it is freezing. I grab my wallet and run down the stairs tripping on the last three. "Annie are you okay?!" Harry yells picking me up. "Yeah I'm fine." I rub my head and stand up. "Ready?" "yeah." we jump in the car and drive to the craft store for everything. We get into a bit of trouble in the store. Oops. We get back to the house and lay all my project stuff on the kitchen table. "okay no one bother me." I move all the chairs away and into the other room. I grab all the things for my project from my room and set them in the kitchen. I start my project as the boys watch Toy Story in the living room. Niall comes in and wraps his arms around my waist. "Niall I love you but I really need to finish my project." he sighs and goes back to the movie. "Hey Annie what are we doing for Thanksgiving?" Liam yells on a commercial. "I don't know whatever you want to do!" I yell back not bothering to look at him. "I'm hungry!" Louis screams to no one in particular. "What time is it?" "Almost five." "well I can't cook so either you guys make something or we can order chinese food." "Chinese!" Harry and Zayn yell together. "okay." when the movie ends they come into the kitchen and stand around the table. "It looks really good Annie." Zayn says touching different pictures on it. "touch it and I will push you down a well." "Annie!" Liam yells. "what?" "say your sorry." "sorry Zayn." "Your forgiven." "yay!" "You're a weird child." Harry says who is standing behind me braiding my hair. "Your the one braiding my hair." "oh shush." "Where are you going to find a well?" Niall blurts out of nowhere. "I don't know I'll look for one and when I find it I'll let you know." "sounds good to me." "No I can't go down a well!" shouts Zayn. "and why not?" "I'm too pretty. Plus you need me." "how will I need you?" "You will one day. Your going to be trapped somewhere and I'm going to be the only one there to save you and then your going to thank me and be so happy that you didn't push me down the well." "okay I'll wait for that moment." "you better." "Are you guys going to order food?" "yeah from where?" "There's stuff in the cabinet over there." I say pointing where. I continue glueing pictures onto my poster board. Everyone left to look at the menu except Louis. He kept watching my every move with a sad face. I finally stop and look up at him. "What's wrong Lou?" "Nothing." he says flatly. "Lou." I say a bit more seriously. "Can we talk outside or something?" I look over his shoulder to the boys fascinated by the menu. "yeah sure." I turn and start walking to the back door with him following close behind. I lead him outside and we sit on the porch steps looking out into the backyard. I haven't sat out here since we came back to grab all my stuff to move to London with the boys after my mum died. Now I'm saying mum a lot. Thanks boys.
