Something oh so funny is fear,
For what terrifies me most may come as a shock,
Tis not a thousand serpent nor an unexpected knock,
Tis not rejection, nor the thought of being alone,
Tis not monsters and ghouls nor a deadly low groan,

For what I fear most is almost absurd,
For what I fear most is almost unheard,
For tis the cruel clinking of a little wine glass,
Because suddenly a thousand forgotten memories come flooding past.

See now to me, nothing is funnier than fear.
For I fear what is already known,
I fear it much more than what not knowing could ever do to my soul.

#4. Boxes

Sidenote: If it wasn't in the list, I'd name this one "Bits of Me". Boxes, boxes everywhere. Holding all my old clothes. Of which I'm too big to wear. Forever and on. Boxes, boxes everywhere.

Under The Bed

There's no monster under my bed. Just a box of memories that lurk instead. Memories of her. Of a happier time. No one's memories but mine. They wait for me to venture under.

Attic

I went in the attic today And this is what I found: An acoustic guitar 'I used to play' 'I remember the chords' Only dust hums the strings.
