Loss, I think, is not always so bad
You can't lose something you never had
Weight loss, then, is a good thing
Dropping a dress size makes girls sing
And on Sunday, when Italy lose
Beers and cheers, no time for boos
A loss of memory is bad. But yet
If you can't remember, you'll never forget
Car keys are easy things to lose
At least you can drink all night if you choose
Of course there is a serious side
Losing your way can be painful, I've tried
Then there's the loss of a family pet
And losing a loved one, more hurtful yet
But worst of all, the loss of a child
I know this one.
It seems to depend on your point of view
What loss is, what it means to you
Life, then, is littered with wins and fails
With loss just a piece of the unfolding tales
