Walk These Roads

Won't you walk these roads with me
I'll share with you the things I see
The price is high for nothing's free
Cost your soul accordingly
There'll be some trash along the way
That won't be tidied up today
No-one to tell not much to say
Emotional landfill anyway
There's a protest man on fire
Creates a personal funeral pyre
He believes but he's a liar
We'll walk on by as flames grow higher
If we carry on we'll see the rust
Forming beneath society's crust
Who's to blame and who to trust
No need to fix what isn't bust
And although it is a mess
There still remains some loveliness
With no more strain and no more stress
The road is lonely nonetheless
It leads to heaven and to hell
Where we'll end up I cannot tell
Listen well to tolling bell
It's closing time for those who fell
Sanitised insanity
All there is for you and me
Call for service and you'll see
That as always there's a fee
Amble walk or run the road
Where you can shed the heavy load
No need for key or secret code
Time to reap the seed we sowed
But if you're really not that strong
This road is not where you belong
I'll keep on going though it's wrong
I've walked these roads for far too long

The World Unknown

When life gives you lemons, throw them straight back. Your head it does pound; you're under attack. And the world slips away from your reach, this day, You can't get it back; it just wanders away.

Breathe.

#emotion We're on a set path, can't help but deviate it. Breaking our backs but left unappreciated. Long names so elegant now abbreviated. Play is work, always agitated.

I Am...

I am a sponge. Absorbing everything. Filled to capacity. But I am shrinking. Ingesting the poisons. Of a toxic society. I am a mirror. Reflecting an image. Of the world you want to see.

Silence is whats left. Where violence leaves the bled; In tortured zones, In thoughts alone, No signs left to be read. Just expressions left on faces, Where nothing need be said.
