200th

Wow my two hundredth post
This is worth a toast
Never thought I'd get this far
A lot of them have been under par

I haven't been on my game as late
My poems have not been that great
But trying is the key
And hopefully you will see

I enjoy what I write
Some of the words may not be right
But I enjoy the fight with this language
Sometimes my brain could use a bandage

But I go on and on
Who knows one day ill might write a song
I'm drifting to a close
But I guess that's how it's goes

Think Ink

I Will Write

I will write. So long I've waited. My brain has rested. Words have baited. Busy and tired. I've put it aside. But now I'm back. With heavy stride. I missed you all. And writing too.

To Write Great Poetry...

After the thousandth plodding line, (That pedantic, graceless curse,) I feel the need to teach a lesson On the basic nature of verse. What is the key to a fluid poem.
