Writers Blues

My minds been blank all day,
I really don't have anything to say.
Sitting here trying to write something,
I'd be happy if I could write anything.

I've got the writers blues,
I bet you've been in these shoes?

Every thought turns sour,
Every idea makes you scour,
Just one simple line,
To make everything fine.

I've got the writers block,
Tick tock tick tock goes the clock.

I'm finding it a struggle,
All my ideas turn to rubble.
I'm giving up hope,
Looking back over everything I wrote.

I've got the writer flop,
Please someone make it stop.

Trying to find some inspiration,
I don't want to give an explanation,
An excuse of why I haven't written today.
Ill sit and ill pray. Hoping these writers blues go away.

I've got the writers blues,
Please someone come and fill these shoes.

The Time

I wish I had the time. To write a perfect rhyme. Make a rhyme that's mine. Oh, I wish I had the time. I wish I had the hours. To write a verse with power. Make a verse that towers.

I have a great idea. So I begin to write. Get the first stanza. Then have a fight. I know the words. Hiding deep in my mind. But they don't come. I look to find. Writers block. Loud and proud.
