Catch Me A Moon

Reflect in the water,
A wavery moon.
Reach out and grab,
It ripples all too soon.

Shine on my pillow,
A sliver of white.
Look up for its base,
It's gone out of sight.

Look in the sky,
A rising sun.
I run out to greet,
But off it runs.

See on my skin,
Rays of light.
I'm not going to reach it,
It'll slip out of sight.

Things Can Last.

A smile can still be fake. A laugh can still have hurt. A sun can still have rain. A tile can still hold dirt. A tear can still be good. A scent can last for years. A smile can see me through the day.

happy?

An emerald field. Clear blue skies. The storm has gone. My happiness lies. A tangle of daisies. Sweet innocence shows. A blanket of grass. Fragrant flowers grow. Bathing in sunlight.

Firefly

Limerick. Firefly. Message in the sky. Reminder of days past. Memories all smashed. Don't ask, I don't know why. Haiku. Firefly flies so high. Like lightning in the night sky. That dance all around.

Asked For A Dance

I took a chance. Asked life for a dance. Held loosely to its hand. To dance freely in every land. I took a leap. And tried not to think deep. Rejoicing the dance under the clear sky.
