Reduce, re-use, recycle,
We hear it all the time,
Though has anybody ever thought to give it piece of mind?
Your gas guzzling sports car,
That gets you the pretty, vein girls,
Have you ever thought what it's doing to our precious world?
And what about the polar bears,
Those who call the ice caps home?
What happened to lost species and the land they used to roam?
I know this won't mean much to you,
But try to face the truth,
You don't need to stop caring just because you're in your youth.
The harsh pollution is choking,
Turning the trees and air pitch black,
Our earth is slowly dying and that's just a simple fact.
So next time you leave the tap on,
Or turn the lights up really high,
Think who's price it is to pay, with their one, blessed life.
