Sad Reality

A poem that I came across written in my high school days... Back when I was Pro Earth

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Black clouds
Acid rain...
Oh no!
Not this again
Nausea... Ugh
Oh no... Depression?
This is a mess
We all need a lesson
Coughing & sneezing
Sickness in the air,
Take a big whiff
After all we don't care
A hole in the ozone
The size of ten moons
Eh, what's the point
We're all going to die soon
Smog over cities
Dust in the air
All the poor kiddies
Suffering out there
We sit there and litter
Acting like knaves
We don't seem to mind
Digging our own graves
Living in our own filth
A filth that's been created
Because of it the Earth wilts
Like a flower that can't be emancipated
It's caused by us
And Earth feels the pain
No faith no trust
We should all the feel the same
We should all make a change
Today not tomorrow
So when all else fails
We won't be the ones filled with sorrow
#Poet #Musician #SongWriter I write from the heart. My thoughts do not only consume my mind, but my entire being. So why not take the time to write down what cannot be spoken for fear of causing quarrels and agonizing pain. I would much rather let the words flow from my heart without a second thought as to what someone may think.
Can We Change The Future
Can we change the future Can you see what I see. What our world will be. It can't be just me. Someone else has to see. All the love will turn to hate. An enemy was a mate. This can't be our fate.
Pollution
I want to shout. I want to yell. All I want to do is tell. It whispers in the trees. And flows with the seas. They all think it's a disease. It's more than that. It can hide in the air.
