When love dies,
I cease to exist.
And the spark that used to be,
Ceases to persist.
I long for your touch,
Your tender lips have faded,
My only memory of you,
My broken heart.
I thought we had love,
But it lost its way,
We grew apart,
I knew it would happen.
My heart hurts,
My chest is in pain,
Life without you will never be the same.
I'm like a bleeding wound,
Never probably healed,
Until I saw you, an angel from above.
You made me work,
Run in time with the world,
But when you left,
You left me broken in half.
When love dies,
I cease to exist.
And the spark that used to be,
Can never persist.
