Is there anyone left
Anyone at all
Who gives a damn for anything
Or wont gladly tread on others to break their very fall?
Are there any gallant subjects left in this green and pleasant land
Or our we just all self obsessed?
Grasping at all there is with our open hands.
Are we all too afraid to offer up a seat for a lady with a case?
In fear she just might turn around and punch you in the face!
When asked to describe your Caribean colleague,
Do you fear for your job as much as speaking the word BLACK!?
The world has gone berserk my friend and ain't that a sad old fact!
We are nothing without the latest gadgetry,
An iPhone or a tablet of the latest flavour
And that includes the spotty son of your welfare funded neighbour.
Indeed I fear the only fear that we should all not let us pass
Is the fear of disappearing up our self destructive arse!
