I believe that our bodies are merely just; shuttles or carriages that we inhabit until the capsule that is our physical bodies can no longer stay alive and therefore, we; in our physical state, die.
I don't know what it is that gives us life in these vehicles that are inhabited from animals to humans, but I do think that life carries on after death. Whether its reincarnation like some religions believe, or there is a heaven which acts as a waiting room until there is another body for our life to live in, I don't know.
Life can't just end when we die an start when we're conceived. Otherwise what would make us all different if we are not
carried on after death into another body?
