Once upon your stumbling feet,
Was somebody with a face of pride.
A story taller than loss and defeat
A tale of weakness taken in one's stride
With a little help from your struggling hands,
The rummaging of a greater maybe, began
Your eyes unafraid of death's demands
Marched your weary heart through, till its best end.
Within its walls was a pounding madness,
The thunderous sound of reckless hope;
It was the surging chance of ultimate greatness,
A chance you feared you could never cope.
But truth is, people will always rain on your parade
Best you know now than later
So don't live life in a charade,
Believe in the greatness that you have yet to offer.
Pursuing 'Greatness' is a tough act to follow
It has to come from self love too.
Rhymes and quotes can be easy to swallow,
But to yourself, you must always remain true.
