All Worth It In The End...Chapter8

I looked him in the eyes and grinned. His jaw was dropped and when I smiled his mouth soon closed and he smiled back. His parents walked out of the room soon after and they left for the restaurant downstairs while I was still waiting outside for my parents to hurry up and leave so I could catch up with Connor. Obviously my parents took forever and I didn't catch up with him but we got down to the restaurant and it looked as if it had been very busy for the past hour and Connor and his family were just being seated round the corner behind all the fruits and desserts. We walked down and luckily no one was waiting before us and we were the next people to be served. We were then seated opposite Connor and his family in front of the desserts, Connor and I facing at each other. We both smiled discretely so our parents didn't see, before getting up to help myself to a starter from the buffet. As soon as I stood up I saw Connor start to push his chair back to stand up, he then followed me over to the corner where all the small nibbles were and came up behind me. I was picking up a few prawns and putting them on my plate when I felt his cold hands on my waist and his warm breath by my ear when he whispered
'You look stunning, I not any other boy in this building can keep his eyes off you, I have never seen such perfection'
I wanted to turn around and kiss him but I couldn't my parents were coming over soon and I didn't want to ruin the moment if he didn't feel the same way. If he did I was waiting for him to make the first move. The guy always should. He didn't and I was both relieved and disappointed, I didn't want him to in case we were caught but I did because I was in love. Plus I had already pictured our first kiss and that is exactly how I wanted it so I was willing to wait. When he left to return to his table and eat I felt as if part of me had gone missing even though he was less than a minute away. He wasn't even mine, yet. I couldn't remember the rest of the meal I just remember watching Connor and thinking how perfect he was. My whole family, me included, eat pretty quickly so we were soon finished and then left to go back to our rooms. I walked in and fell onto the bed, instantly removing my heels because my feet killed from walking in them, I then brushed my hair and tied it back, took my make up off and changed into hot pants and a crop top so I could get to sleep in the heat.
