This road I travel on is coming to an end.
I stop a few steps away from starting a new path again.
I look at my feet individually and see the scars, blemishes, and blisters upon them from my journey along this path.
I want to say a calm serenity over came me as I peered forward into the unknown, but it would be a lie. Instead mixed feelings overtook me from anxiousness to excitement over what this year long path would bring.
I took a quick look back, remembering the long journey I had taken to get to this point.
It has been full of ups and downs from making new friends, to regretting some of the stupid things I've done.
However, despite it all I can easily say it was an adventure worth living, so with that I take my next few steps towards the next year long path and think to myself,
"it's gonna be another great year!"
