The peace of home,
My balanced own
Where I can hide
And long inside,
Without the fear
Of being hurt
By those most dear,
I can invert.
Comfortably alert,
Aware of me,
My own dessert,
Beloved I be,
Be I free,
Free from the apple of my eye,
My burning fire
Of desire
Will never cease to try,
But no one can quite love me,
Like I love me.
As much a man as I do see,
I am a man as much to he,
I bare him all my entity
And wear does he my energy.
Though I may not cry,
And though I'll never cease to try
No one can quite love me,
Like he will love me.
