The sun took my hand
Led me to the sand
The waters edge was close
The blue tickled my toes
My toes curled up
Not much...just enough
A little bit playfully
With the kiss of the sea
Twas clear and see through
Aquamarine with golden hues
Tis an oceanic bliss
I could see the fish
Swishing round my feet
The sea protected me from the heat
The rays of hazy sunshine
Felt like they were all thine
Made the deep blue glisten
I quietly listen
To the sound of the waves
A nautical themed octave
Enveloping me now
The sea spray kissed my brow
The sound of the sea
Is a chorus so free
Tis music to my ears
I smile and cheer
I feel at ease
With the cool sea breeze
I'm calm as can be
Twas the serenity of the sea
