In a perfect place, You would be here. There would be peace; No danger near. You would call me honey, Maybe sweetie, or dear. My heart wouldn't ache, Nor would I fear.
I miss the beating of your heart. Carrying your hurt, Anything & everything, Now I'm cold & alone. Ticking away, wishing you'd call me your home.
Nothing left I've nothing left Left sitting here My heart's bereft. So much lost I've lost so much I long for one: Your needed touch.
Open my eyes. You try to see these. Tears that I hide. Yet they burn my skin. My patience. Growing weary and thin. Fires are meant to burn. Mine does even through the rain.
Must it be that heaven is In empathy with me. The gushing rain, like bitter Teardrops flowing from my Eyes seemingly refuse to halt.
Compose the soul. Dull ache in my head, Pain through my bones, Soothe my hurt instead. Whisper my name. Don't ever leave, I need your presence, Your love i perceive. Your eyes are windows.

There's a strange pain. Lurking in my heart and brain. It feels like a burden, a heart wrenching strain. I try not think about it, but it creeps in again. It hurts so much.
