Hunter

the shadows of the dark,
Silently watching,
Hunting like a shark,
The driftwood burns,
Under satin skies,
On the wind, you hear,
Those bloodthirsty cries,
A monster stalking,
Belonging in the deep,
Restless and hungry,
A beast that doesn't sleep,
Try to guard your soul,
But I'm afraid it just won't work,
Tendrils slip around you,
Pulling you in with a smirk,
Beware, I say,
Yet hopeless in time,
For there is nothing, nothing,
That can halt this crime,
Just watch -
as you walk home tonight,
When it comes for you,
There'll be no room for fright.

Cursed

Don't look at me. For beneath this skin I'm cursed. Oh yes I appear pure. The role I've well rehearsed. I leave a silent trail. Of destruction and misery. I'm a mass of devastation.

Windows of the soul, Eyes as black as coal. Dripping daemon gore, You hiss a little more. Looming shadows grey, Horns every-damn-which-way. Dwelling in the black, Just waiting to attack.

In Black

Shadows creeping. Drawing nearer. Walls seeping. We all fear her. Souls lost. Innocence spoiled. Windows frost. Carpets soiled. Every night. She brings us out. Edge of sight. Lingering doubt.

Crooked Chest Of Drawers

Laying in bed when prayers have been said, the clock is ticking inside your head. As the lights go out you hear a shout but you're certain that no one is about.
