To hear your tone it soothes me, Gives chills right through me. It calms my nerves, My everlasting urge.
To know me well. Is to love me. That frown or smile. I often do. When I cry. To just hold. To not ask. Makes me whole. To tell me. When I'm wrong. To tell me. When I'm right. To smile with me.
I sit here... into space I stare thinking I am here you are there Unable to run my fingers through your hair or trace my finger tips across your cheek , the night is dark, quiet and bleak.
Could I stay here forever. Please. Just lay here. Where you cuddle yourself in at night. Where you slowly, fearlessly drift in to sleep. Protected, like a mother protects its child.
I miss your body laid next to mine. I miss the way our bodies intertwine. I miss those little kisses up and down my neck. I miss my head resting on your pecs. I miss sharing my duvet with you.
