This Too Shall Pass

This struggle,
This hurt,
This pain and sorrow
Will not always be around

Things well let up
Everything will be better
Soon you'll be rising from the ground

Life can be hard
Cruel and unyielding
I know that sometimes it looks bleak

But you've got to remember
To stay positive and hopeful
You've just got to turn the other cheek

The world may beat you down,
And make things difficult
But there will be an end to this pain
