Warning Signs

Broken, unfeeling
Left for dead
All the thoughts swirling in her adolescent head

Should she cry for help,
Or should she just pull the trigger?
She's made up her mind
She just needs to move her finger

Soon it'll all be over
No need to cry anymore
Escaping the vicious nicknames
Of slut, loser and whore

Things could have been different
It didn't need to end like this
So many warning signs
But everything still went amiss

Someone could have helped her,
Taken the time to pay attention and care
Maybe she wouldn't have been pushed to the edge
If she had someone who had been there

So many thoughts knotted together
Just like a tangle of vines
You'd be surprised at what you'd discover
If you just read between the lines
BANG

-A quick little poem roughly based on a book I read called 13 Reasons Why-

@natalee

I don't have much to tell you. I'm Nat, I'm 15, and I'm ridiculously boring
