Every morning, as soon as I woke up I was counting down the hours until I fell asleep again, meeting Luc, in my dreams and embarking on the magical adventures he would take me on. The hours felt laborious and Tuesday seemed years away, Livvy was picking up on my edgy mood and tried to pry the information out of me.
'Amelie! Please stop pacing, your driving us both crazy.' she cried, pulling me down next to her on my small chaise. 'Amelie, please tell me what is going on?' she asked exasperatedly. 'Nothing.' I replied quickly, 'I'm fine' She raised her eyebrows at me, 'Amelie I've been your best friend since birth, I know when your lying, your eyes dart around guiltily!' she smiled softly. 'Please,' she asked, rubbing my hand gently, 'Talk to me.' I shifted uncomfortably in her gaze, 'Well...the night that you went home with Nick, well I got lost on the way home and well...a group of boys followed me and cornered me..' I ended abruptly as Livvy let out a small cry, her hand flying to her mouth, 'Oh my gosh Amelie they didn't...' 'No no no.' I said quickly before she became unconsolable, 'I didn't want to tell you because it would make you feel bad.' I said sadly giving her a hug. 'Well just as I was about to give up hope, this boy appeared, Luc. He scared them off and then walked me home. The problem is, I think I've fallen for him, hard.' I said solemnly. Livvy nodded sympathetically, 'Well then. We will just have to find him, after all Paris isn't that big!' she exclaimed before looking at my face, causing us to burst out laughing. 'Livvy it's ok he lent me his jacket and said I could keep it until Tuesday.' 'What's happening on Tuesday?' Livvy asked quizzically. 'On Tuesday, Livvy, I'm meeting up with Luc once more!'
