What A Night

I've never had so much fun,
I partied till the morn.
This wedding was spectacular,
A brand new couple born.

I danced with all my family,
A hard night in those shoes,
My dancing skills could use some work,
The viewers seemed amused!

The bride was really stunning,
Her hair sorted just right.
You could tell that she was having fun,
Laughing through the
night.

A mother brought me round her son,
Suggested that we danced.
We both felt far too old for this,
As he gave his mum a glance.

My feet today are swollen,
The heels I wore could kill,
But as far as the wedding party went,
It really fit the bill.
