I Found Myself Lost

A brief walk of necessity led me to the cool evening air that wrapped me in fresh clothing and pulled my eyes skyward. There, thickening clouds of black and grey, moist and charged with natures fury spoke to me in tongues of fire, stirring within me a need to walk and to keep walking.

For an hour I made my way, hypnotised by the brooding sky; how magnificent it was and how little our lives must seem as we sleep our way through each day... oh rain, how I wished you would awaken me! I wanted the sky to open itself for me; to feel its cleansing rain soak my skin and wash away the tears of a mundane life; a life forgotten; a life un-lived.

But the rain didn't come; and once again, I found myself lost, wandering alone through a dream of what might have been.

..Sigh..

It seems like trouble is brewing, which always makes me frown. When shadows engulf our minds and throw away our crowns. When something happens, it fills everyone with rage.

Not A Care

Why should, when there's sun 'n sea. I be lying here, under a colourless grey sheet. Staring up at flies on the ceiling. Unmoving, unseeing. While all around the ocean is seething.

Life

So simple a question yet I cannot answer. Why must I have to think logically. Why not it be simple and put into a equation. But no, I have to think outside the box.

Autumn & Winter

This time of year is the time I like the most. When the days start to get darker. When the mornings are frosty and dark. When the leaves fall. When the rain pours for days on end.

One Of Those Nights

And it's just one of those nights. Where your mind is as cloudy as the night sky. And your thoughts are louder than your mouth. Where there's too many emotions running through your veins.

Hollow

I sat there watching. The guests were mingling, scuffing cake and cookies in their face. They talked about the weather and the news and how the cake was so lovely.

Brilliant! I want to know where you're walking to and what's happens when you get there...
