Now that I'm 9, I've figured out most things. Like the hiding the food that you dislike works well until you have to do something with it. Which for me was to under the table throw it across the floor next to someone but me. Which is why our floor was sometimes splattered with oatmeal.
My church life was like that (well at least without the oatmeal). But Thomas made it special. He wasn't like the others who thought girls were either described by rowdiness or their dodge ball abilities. He was like them in many was but his friendliness with girls was different. He treated them as his little or older sisters. I believed it was weird but not in a bad way.
So returning to school after summer was interesting. I had a teacher named Mrs.Justice. The unusual thing was that she knew my mother. But not in a teacher parent relation ship it was a high school friend one. She still even knowing my mother, who by the way was a mean grumpy person, was really awesome. I went through 5th grade normally until I found out a new trait of me.
