Chapter #1
I felt free. Running through the dense wood, leaping over small brooks and logs. I was at peace, the crisp, cold air clearing my senses; it wouldn't last long my inner peace, as soon as I returned back to the Manor House my father would scold me for going out alone and send me to my room. Changing back to human form I sighed, I would happily stay in wolf form for ever but my dad would track me down and lock me up. Don't get me wrong I love my dad, but since my mother died when I was 8 he had tried to keep me away from the pack. My young wolf had tried to make its first change when I was 11 and my dad had stopped it with a powerful opal that he insisted I wear. My wolf tried to get out and when I was 12 my wolf was tiring me, I could not sleep my wolf was begging to be set free, so one night I had taken of the opal necklace and let my wolf come and I had changed. My dad heard me yelp with happiness, rushed up to my room and commanded my wolf to change back. It worked and once back in human form my father had said that he would let me change every so often to keep my wolf happy. So once a month he let me run for 10 miles with his old beta. But recently I had started to go on runs by my self.

Chapter #2
As I walked up the stairs to my room, dad called up the stairs "Lea, living room now!" running back down the stairs I shouted " coming..".
As I entered the room I could tell something was wrong, there was a long pause and dad began " we need to move........ The alpha from the pack wants you to mate his son."
" what, I'm only 14. Why ?" shocked I replied.
" you are full blooded Lea darling." he sighed " you are moving next week to a small town called Newhan, you will start boarding school instead of being tutored, I'm sorry it had to come to this."
I was speechless, and hugged my dad tight. Then I ran to my room, climbed into bed and fell asleep.

Chapter #3
Me and Katy (Cousin) where out shopping for clothes and uniform. The Newhan Boarding School was a small school in a small town that was 20 miles away, it was closer to the coast and the weather worse. The uniform was a black blazer, pleated skirt, a cream blouse and maroon tie. I bought a new pair of converse, with some of my left over birthday money, they matched the tie and I was going to wear them to school. If the teachers liked it or not. I also bought some black jeans and a grey and gold top. Katy bought me some new eyeliner and some dip-dye. Katy was 16 and we where really close, she loved to do hair and make-up and had dip-dyed my blonde hair last summer. She winked at me " To cheer you up," I smiled. I really didn't want to go but Dad wanted me to so I would. I hugged Katy "Thanks."

Chapter #4
My blonde hair now had red tips, I was leaving in a few hours. Walking around my room I sighed. I loved this room, the window seat and the high ceiling. One wall painted dark purple, my curtains a lacy netting, fairy lights looped around the ivory shelves. The scent of warm coco and comforting vanilla was homely. I wiped a tear from my cheek.
