It's been far too long for us to be apart but my exams are over and I'm ready to start writing again! So here it goes...
Do you want to elope tonight?
Get lost amongst the shadows....
Leave the city and just take flight
This place is killing me like the gallows...
We can drive till the turnpike toll.
Through the darkness of the highway...
Escaping all these chains on our soul
Life is fine so long as you'll stay...
Squealing wheels driving me insane
You call us runaways without a cause...
Too much nicotine on my brain
But for us I'd break a million laws...
Dawn comes with regret and lies
Your skin is salty from the tear you've cried...
I cradle hope before our dream dies
It's time for me to run and hide....
Anywhere is better than here....
