Dreams.

Lulled into sleep,
Dreams are mine to keep,

Full of colour and glee,
Dreams of my spirit running free,

Smells as fresh as cut grass,
Seasons change and I watch them pass,

Rainbows and pots of gold,
My dreams are stories untold,

Some strange some surreal,
Some so lifelike I can really feel,

Love my dreams they're unrestricted,
Far removed from life so tight and constricted,

My dreams are my wishes I'm not going to share,
Lets hope tonight when I sleep its not a nightmare.

Dreams

Wake up in the morning. Bleary eyed in the half light. Snatches of broken dreams. Flood back to me from night. Dreams of strange scenarios. As though my bed's a stage.

Dreaming

Fabrications of my imagination, Protruding from the source of their creation, Spinning out a tale of their own narration, Swimming in my head for the night's duration.
