You wanted me to write,
A poem about you tonight,
So I hope I don't come up short,
So this is my present to you its not shop bought,
Where do I start,
Straight from the heart?
Or words I've already spoken?
Of our friendship that's never broken?
I've known you now for 10 long years,
We've shared happy memories shed some tears,
Confided in each other our secrets and dreams,
A sisterhood we created there's no I in our team,
Laughter and fun is you to a tee,
Sometimes you're my Rottweiler a little angry,
You've got a little temper but I love you no less,
I've helped you through your created mess,
You've done some silly things,
My phone you don't ring,
You text me for a brew,
And I know you're feeling blue,
Our conversations often x rated,
About being sexually frustrated,
Or our habits on the loo,
And lesbians too,
Rumours gossip and lies,
Talk about hot sexy guys,
No conversation banned,
Talks of road trips we've planned,
Pranks to embarrass each other,
At drive thru's pretending to be lovers,
Two girls on tour,
Best friends for ever more.
I'm always here for you no matter the time of day,
Ill be here even when I'm old and grey,
Your like the sister I never had,
A privilege to have you in my life of that I'm glad.
