Torn.

Take my hand and walk with me,
Ill take you on a journey using imagery,
Take a piece of paper tear it in two,
Can you see the image trying to get through,
Take your half and tear it some more,
When you've finished doing that drop the pieces to the floor,
The other half has been taken,
By someone else if I'm not mistaken,
If you want some more form an orderly queue,
Everybody wants a piece not just you,
Can you not see what I'm saying here traitor,
It's me I'm that piece of paper,
I'm torn in pieces pulled in different directions,
Now take a look at me what's the conclusion to your inspections,
You take one arm they'll take another,
Play this game with each other,
Push pull push pull wait till I break,
If you pull hard enough you won't have long to wait,
Stop and think about what's in my soul,
You push pull me to achieve your own goal,
Look at the floor,
Shredded paper galore,
That's me down there,
You keep going you guys don't care,
Pull me in different directions,
Ill take your rejections,
For I am torn,
Forlorn,
Neglected,
Rejected,
Forgotten,
Downtrodden,
You want me to be your slave,
Ask me nicely I will cave,
Tear me in two,
You can have one and so can you,
Tear your halves into half once more,
Now you can pass it on and now two is four,
Spiralling out of control you take,
No sense of life I can no longer make,
Once the papers ripped to shreds,
Just remember I won't be there my personality dead.
