Water

Water so pure,
Cleanses the soul,
Helps you ignore,
Makes you feel whole,

The sound it makes,
Changes day by day,
The silence of the lakes,
Rain noise from clouds of grey,

Drip of the tap,
Crash of the wave,
Whoosh of the waterfalls attack,
Trickle of the stream by the cave,

Water is many emotions,
The calmness of the ocean,
The preconceived notion,
Before the anger of the waves commotion,

The gentle spring shower,
To the harsh storm of rain,
Rain becomes power,
Rain becomes pain,

Water is lots of things,
Different meanings to you and me,
To me purity is what water brings,
Washing the pain away setting me free.
