Conquered

I've conquered the mountains
Drank from fountains
Ticked off more places of interest
Stopping occasionally for a mini rest
Discovered beautiful places
And encountered unfamiliar faces

I've conquered some fears
And shed some tears
I've done what was needed
And followed advice heeded
Life feels like its blossoming
And my heart I'm following

I've some more fears that hide
That stretch so deep and wide
Lurking in my depths
Where my insecurities are kept
To Find the strength and courage to conquer these
May bring me to my knees
But I'm prepared
Despite being a little scared
