Doubter

You might presume that I fall too fast
That things are never meant to last
But my faith in the human race
Has recently been replaced, now there's a smile across my face.

You might think I take on too much
Shame you don't really know me as such
Maybe if you'd looked inside
You'd of found the strength that I hide.

You don't see what you've done to me
The influence you've had on the person I be
Maybe if you'd took the time
You'd appreciate how I display feelings in rhyme.

You doubt me every step of the way
With harsh comments and things you say
Thinking I can't make it on my own
How much you've missed whilst your little girl has grown.
