The nervousness builds
It's been a battle of wills
Should we test a theory
Think of a hypothesis or input a query
Should we make like scientists
In a passion war we could enlist
Your passion matches mine
That's why we tell the kids to stand in line
But this is unfamiliar ground
Where we are bound
A first date seems so scary
And I'm on my guard kinda wary
But when alls said and done
I'm not usually the forward one
You clearly are
As you've already hinted you want to go far
Curiosity has got the better of me And testing a theory is what I want to see
