In the dark of the night
There is a tiny shimmer of light
It shines so bright
I can't help but keep it in sight
It's a light so brilliant and white
I do not fear, I know everything will be alright
As I take the last deep breath, closing my eyes tight
Trying not to think of you with all my might.
Consumed by it all
Feeling like I am part of a free fall
My body no longer standing tall
As they make the final curtain call.
