Short Break

So here we are again
Into the rain
We said it was through
And a broken heart we drew

None of us wanted to stay at the home
That inside our young love started to bloom
So we both opened the door
And went out in the rain
Not knowing where we are heading for

We took our break
Accepted the heartache
New love we tried
For we thought our love has died
It never felt the same
And we are both to blame
We loved each other too much
But when we parted all this love turned into hate in the rush

Years and years went by
We both grew older
But Our love we never gave another try
The short break turned into forever
We don't even look at the same river

More years and years went by
Still both lonely but to Us we never gave another try
I wish we never took this "short" break
After Us ended love seems so fake
