At the end of the day
And the beginning of the night
I close the lights
And tuck them in before I lay
I check the doors
Close the curtains
I am so tired
But little tasks I like to do
For me it's never a burden
It's so quiet and so calm
I can't wait to stretch my palms
Just one more thing before I rest
I know it's bad but just one cig
I then head to my bed
Can't wait to drop my head
But clumsy me as they all say
I bumped my toe while on my way
The screams and cries where too much
That everyone came in such rush
And all the quietness and calmness
Were disturbed by my clumsiness
I didn't sleep that night
No matter how I tried to close my eyes tight
In the morning was such a fright
Cause even though I like purple
It's not a color you want to see on your toe
