There was a cold breeze outside. It wasn't snowing, but the rain was coming down light enough to disguise itself as it. Josie was sitting in her dining room, staring blankly out of the window; she had nothing else to do. Even though she loved the spring break, she couldn't find anything to do, so it was always wasted. 'RING, RING!' The phone screeched at her. 'RING, RING!'. She dived towards the phone, grabbing it firmly and carefully putting it up to her ear. "Hello?" Josie called down the phone. A burst of noise erupted from the phone. You could tell by the way her friend, Naomi, was always loud, noisy and even the neighbours could hear her from at least a mile away. "New shoes! I need new shoes!" Josie managed to catch. "Look, we went shopping yesterday!" Josie sarcastically reminded her. "Duh." She could hear Naomi muttering to herself about her memory and why she never had enough time to do anything. "Yeah...but" Naomi tried frantically to think of a reason. "No. Anyway, I have no money anyway, so mission impossible we are talking about here." Josie interrupted. She heard Naomi silently cursing and the phone cut off. What was her problem? She obviously knew that we had, otherwise she wouldn't have called... would she? Well, that's not nice. She knew! Josie was fed up of the same thing everyday.
