I think back on my life,
I hate everything that I now am,
I've been through a fair strife,
I've not given all that I can,
I hate everything I have become,
I hate the shadows on my arms,
I hate all that I've done,
I've fallen for all the charms,
Nothing can part me from my hate,
Nothing can and nothing ever will,
I am forever left in this dreaded state,
Regrets torture me till I lay still,
I am not who I ever wished to be,
I am everything I did hate; I am me.

@sarahgamal I was writing this for a friend who's struggling, βΊ, she asked me to write her a poem from her point of view, she told me how she felt as I put it into a poem :), but thanks for the advice all the same(:
