But to suggest a mini-Opuss,
That's just crossing the line!
Shouldn't we all be equal?
It's our writes that matter most,
You can have good conversation
On anybody's post.
So just because we're younger,
Doesn't mean we're bad.
We should have our free will,
So I don't care a tad!

My posts are various inspiration for absolutely anything lying around. And I like seals.

Recently I heard of a cat, More like a mouse, A cat named Jatt, Jatt the cat. Rather a rat. Opussians cried at literature wrongly placed, And wrongly accused. In the wrong spot, Mismatched, Misplaced.
This ink as dark as night, This paper as light as day. Although these words are dark, Their colour means no decay. The paper on the other hand... Spreads the lies as quick as fire.
I know this makes me a hypocrite, But I really am fed up of it. I'd like to complain about the complaints, That, this lovely app, do taint. I want to hear a poem of love, An animal tale about a dove.
A little message for @Jatt. Seems you're a dog, not a cat. You decided to play. And cheated your way. We expected better than that. What a shame you cannot stay. With all this on your head today.

I suggested Opuss for kids as I'm all too aware that there are many on here younger than 13 as the T&c's require. The reason I said it was I am disturbed that folk of this age and younger are reading work on here that is highly inappropriate in either a sexual way or explicit language. So I'm sorry I don't think it's a ridiculous idea for that very reason. I absolutely agree there are many any talented writers here who are young but not "children"
I don't think it because of not wanting to mix ages I think it's because some of the content of some if the poems/post can be too violent sexual or mental for younger minds if that makes sense. I love reading posts from younger opussians I learn a lot from the young and old xx
It's not because your lesser beings hun, it's more to protect younger readers because a lot of posts on here are for older readers and it's a bit worrying that children as young as 10-11 are exposed to it, young writers bring a lot to opuss and there is a lot of talent π
@eddie12309 Yes I am aware that some of the content is inappropriate for children, but most of the posts are basically very good and the people are talented. I appreciate why you suggested it, maybe there could be an update where you can hide certain content?

@sian_ perhaps. But you also assumed the age group in my suggestion in someone else's comments. Opuss Junior should be for juniors 13 and under all. With all due respect I think you jumped to conclusions on your post here. π
I agree with most of the comments. A mini Opuss would be okay, but wouldn't a content filter be easier? Assuming kids would use it. But we've got to remember, Opuss doesn't know how old we all are. Kids 13 and under can say that they're 17 and nobody notices a thing. While a mini Opuss is a wonderful idea, I highly doubt it would be used. (I realize none of my sentences are flowing together, late night postπΌ)
@paintingskies I guess I agree. Yes, I am only 12 and I know I shouldn't really be on here, but downloading Opuss was the best thing I ever did! Even if we were to create a mini-Opuss, it wouldn't stop younger people coming on this one really. X
I think some of us just have to be sensible and if a post has "sexual content 18+" I have the common sense not to read it.
