The Willow

I'm standing by the willow
With no love in my heart.
The rain is beating down,
Lightning tears the sky apart.

I'm standing by the willow
With no joy in my head.
The wind is blowing thickly
And tomorrow's what I dread.

I'm standing by the willow
With the fog blocking my view.
I know someday soon enough,
I'll stand here with you.

I'm Here.

I'm here. Do you not see me. I'm here. Do you not hear the desperation in every word left unspoken. I'm here. Do you not feel my presence; worn and anxious and praying for you to call my name.

All I Have Left

Shattered skylines. Broken things. A bursting sunset. And painted wings. As leaves fall. The pain declines. Like the ebb and flow. Of the ever changing tides. A music box. That no longer plays.

Rain

Rain, rain, leave me be. I've been through enough as you can see. You've left me so battered and bruised, why is it me who you abuse. I'm so sick of all the pain. Rain, rain, rain.
