America is a nation that I feel, with great sadness, that has never ascended to the level of greatness it has convinced itself it is made of.
From the very beginning, the people governing that nation have done everything they can to take what they want from the land. Be that the slaughter of the native tribes, the unfulfilled promises to desperate immigrants, or many lies it has used on its citizens to convince them that they must fight wars that benefit no one but the banks.
they wave Old Glory around and declare that not supporting the agendas is unpatriotic, unamerican, and goes against believing in liberty.
How strange and paradoxical is an ideology that requires a nation's people to go kill other people in foreign lands for resources and control. that these things must be done for us to be safe and secure.
Oppress others before they try to oppress us, they say. they do not say it so directly. first they must make you feel afraid, desperate. they manipulate the money markets and impoverish the masses.
they make their governance a necessity, so that you need their assistance. they bully you and then sell you their protection from the bullying. then they send our sons and daughters off to die for what they want.
this is not liberty, nor freedom, nor democracy. this is a Patrician society. An oligarchy, aristocracy, teetering near the edge of totalitarian and fascist.
it pains me to say it but my conscience leaves me no other choice. as long as we kill for peace there shall be no peace.
