Take a look and see the scowl
I mean the frown behind the smile
The angry flash behind the eyes
They only see the outer charm
never seen the inner man
I am the calm before the storm
Lava flowing underground
Angry heart within my core
Pounding like the hammer of Thor
judged and scorned at every turn
I am misunderstood, but that's the norm
I swallow pride and endure
Place my faith and trust in God
Dedicate my energies to his challenging work
Trying to keep an open mind
Wondering why I'm so misjudged
The answer comes, it’s a simple thought
quotes recalled from a writer’s words
“I think like a genius, write like a distinguished author but speak like a child.”
