My daughters like a flower
Unfolding petals everyday
A little piece of sunshine to light our very way
The laughter that is bubbling
And causing me such joy
Is wonderful and catching
And makes me say oh-boy!
How special is this daughter?
The only one I've got!
As special as any treasure
I can' believe my lot!
Each day that does go past
I count my very blessings
And know that in my heart
That lovely ray of sunshine
I'll always be caressing
