He said he was refused entry at the blood bank
He never withdrew his morales and his attitude stank
The nurse wants a pay rise for all the nights she drank

Now he has withdrawal symptoms cos he has no weed
He has no money and his giro's due next week
So he goes out at night to rob from the weak
He justifies his actions 'cos his kids need to eat

He takes his goods down to the local Cash Converters
He has no I.D. to prove that he's not a burglar
But in the cue a "friend" recognises him with his laptop and engagement ring
The police arrive and ask him to put his password in

He got four months for the stolen goods
Last time we spoke he said he'd read a book
That time had changed his attitude and his whole outlook
But now his eldest son is following where his Dad once stood
